Every two years, the high-energy physics group of Universidad de Los Andes, Colombia, organizes the UNIANDES Particle Physics School, with the aim of updating young researchers, students and postdocs in relevant topics of particle physics, both at the theoretical and experimental level.
In the year 2022, we will organize the VII version of the School, this time we are trying to get back to face-to.face format for three days (December 5-7, 2022). This version of the school will make emphasis on important tools such as statistical analysis techniques, Machine learning, Model building and also include important topics such as Standard model basics, B physics, neutrino physics, Dark Matter, Beyond standard model physics as well as discussions of present and future accelerators and experiments. The talks will be delivered either in Spanish or English (slides in English), according to the speaker preference.
There are also time slots for short talks about research performed by students and researchers. There is financial support for a limited number of students out of the city. Preference will be given to students willing to give a talk about their research work and also to diversity.
