DESCRIPTION:\nThe workshop is intended to showcase the application of diff
 erent detector technologies and experimental techniques beyond fundamental
  particle physics research. These applications extend across fields such a
 s Medicine\, Geology and Engineering.\n\nThis workshop will be held in per
 son over three days. For the first two days\, invited and local speakers w
 ill deliver one-hour lectures in the morning and afternoon. The final sess
 ion will feature an interactive\, hands-on module on detector simulation a
 nd machine learning. On the last day there will be short presentations (20
  to 30 minutes) of selected contributions\, delivered in either English or
  Spanish.\n\nThe official Workshop languages are Spanish and English.\n\nA
 pplication for admission is free of charge.\n\nOpening Day for application
