Present Your Research at the 5th Workshop on Statistical Physics!

We invite researchers and students to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations. Share your latest results, exchange ideas, and connect with the statistical physics community in a dynamic academic setting.

Oral Presentations:
15-minute talks offering the chance to highlight your work and receive expert feedback.

Poster Sessions:
Interactive sessions ideal for discussion, networking, and exploring new collaborations.

Both sessions will take place at Universidad de los Andes on April 16–17, 2025.

Submission Guidelines

Abstract (max 300 words) in English

Include title, authors, and affiliations

Specify preference for oral or poster (some oral requests may be reassigned due to limited slots)

Submit through our online system before the deadline

Important Dates

Abstract submission deadline: March 16, 2026

Acceptance notification: March 27, 2026

To submit an abstract, you must create an account on fisindico.uniandes.edu.co. If you haven't created one, you will be directed to the account creation form. Once your account is created, you can enter your abstract online.

You can use simple LaTeX and Markdown commands. Do not use environments (such as \begin{equation} ... \end{equation}) as they will not be reproduced correctly in the book of abstracts. To enter equations in LaTeX, use inline math mode $...$ or display math mode $$...$$.
