Description
As an accelerator-based long-baseline neutrino experiment studying neutrino oscillations, NOvA has been searching for signals of beyond the Standard Model (BSM) physics like sterile neutrinos and non-standard interactions (NSI) with matter, setting constraints on the parameters governing those new-physics phenomena. In addition, we are also investigating NOvA's capabilities to observe the effects of a possible invisible neutrino decay on the neutrino oscillation data. In this talk I will present the current status of NOvA on these BSM searches, focusing on the most resent results on sterile neutrinos, the progress on improving the constraints on the NSI parameters, and the sensitivity studies of neutrino decay signals.
